300 ALIEN All-in-One Solar Street Lights for Community Lighting in South Sudan

Project Background

In 2025, Inlux Solar supplied 300 sets of ALIEN Series Anti-Theft All-in-One Solar Street Lights for a community lighting project in South Sudan. The project covered local roads, public park areas, residential courtyards, and shared outdoor spaces where reliable nighttime lighting was needed to improve visibility and support safer community movement after dark.

For community infrastructure projects, lighting is more than a basic utility. It affects how residents move at night, how public spaces are used, and how safely people can access roads, homes, parks, and local activity areas. In locations where grid-based street lighting may be limited, costly, or difficult to extend, solar street lights offer a practical off-grid solution that can be deployed quickly across multiple sites.

The purpose of this project was to provide independent, solar-powered outdoor lighting for distributed community areas. Each lighting unit operates with its own solar panel, battery, controller, and LED system, reducing the need for trenching, underground cabling, and connection to unstable grid infrastructure.

Why the ALIEN All-in-One Solar Street Light Was Selected

The ALIEN Series was selected because it is an anti-theft all-in-one solar street light designed for community roads, residential areas, parks, and public lighting applications. Its integrated structure combines the solar panel, LED light, battery, and controller into one compact system, making installation faster and easier for distributed lighting sites.

For this South Sudan project, the system was configured with a 6-meter pole, 90W LED power, and a LiFePO4 40Ah / 12.8V battery. This configuration was suitable for community-level lighting where strong brightness, compact installation, and reliable nighttime performance were required.

The anti-theft design was also important for public and residential environments. In community lighting projects, exposed components can face higher risks of damage, removal, or unauthorized access. The ALIEN all-in-one structure helps reduce exposed parts and creates a cleaner, more secure installation for public outdoor use.

Deployment Scope

The project involved the delivery and installation of 300 solar street light systems across multiple community lighting sites in South Sudan. The lights were used for park lighting, street lighting, residential courtyard lighting, and public access areas where improved nighttime visibility was needed.

Because the lighting points were distributed across different types of locations, the project required a standardized product configuration that could be installed efficiently while maintaining consistent lighting performance. The all-in-one design helped simplify transportation, installation, and maintenance, making it suitable for community infrastructure projects with multiple installation points.

Before shipment, the lighting systems were prepared according to the required pole height, LED power, battery capacity, and installation accessories. This helped reduce on-site complexity and supported smoother project execution after delivery.

Project Outcome

After installation, the 300 ALIEN solar street lights improved nighttime visibility across community roads, parks, and residential outdoor areas. The lighting helped make public spaces easier to use after sunset and supported safer movement for pedestrians, residents, and local traffic.

For local communities, better outdoor lighting can improve daily life in practical ways. Brighter streets and courtyards support evening travel, outdoor activity, small business operation, and public safety. Solar-powered lighting also reduces dependence on grid electricity, making it especially useful for areas where conventional lighting infrastructure is difficult to deploy.

This South Sudan project demonstrates how anti-theft all-in-one solar street lights can support community development, residential lighting, and public infrastructure improvement. With the right product configuration and site planning, solar lighting can provide a reliable, independent, and maintainable solution for roads, parks, and shared public spaces.
