150 JAGUAR All-in-Two Solar Street Lights for Primary Schools in Benin

Project Background

From 2021 to 2023, Inlux Solar supplied a total of 150 sets of JAGUAR Series All-in-Two Solar Street Lights for multiple primary school sites in Benin. The project was developed in several purchase phases, starting with an initial order of 30 sets in 2021 and expanding through repeat orders after the first installations were put into use.

The lighting demand came from school environments where reliable outdoor illumination was needed around access roads, campus walkways, playground areas, and general outdoor activity zones. In many school and community locations, lighting is not only a matter of visibility, but also a practical improvement for safety, evening movement, and the usability of outdoor spaces after sunset.

Because the installation sites were spread across multiple school locations, the project required a solar lighting solution that could be installed with minimal dependence on grid power, deliver stable illumination during nighttime hours, and remain easy to operate and maintain for local users.

Why the JAGUAR All-in-Two Solar Street Light Was Selected

El JAGUAR Series All-in-Two Solar Street Light was selected for this project because it combines a separated solar panel design with an integrated LED light and lithium battery system. Compared with conventional grid-connected lighting, the solar-powered system reduces the need for trenching, cabling, and utility connection work, making it suitable for school sites where installation speed and project simplicity are important.

Each unit in this project used an 8-meter lighting pole, an 80W LED light, and a LiFePO4 battery configuration. This setup was designed to provide strong outdoor illumination for school roads and activity areas while maintaining stable operation in a solar-powered environment.

For education-related outdoor lighting projects, reliability is especially important. The lighting system must withstand daily outdoor exposure, seasonal weather changes, and repeated nighttime operation. The JAGUAR Series was therefore used as a durable project-grade solution for distributed school lighting applications.

Deployment Timeline

The project was completed in several stages between 2021 and 2023. In 2021, the customer first purchased 30 sets of JAGUAR All-in-Two Solar Street Lights for initial deployment. After the lights were installed and tested in real school environments, the customer provided positive feedback on the brightness, stability, and practical value of the lighting system.

Following the initial installation, additional orders were placed to extend the lighting coverage to more school sites. By the end of the project period, a total of 150 sets had been supplied and installed across multiple primary school locations in Benin.

This phased deployment model helped reduce project risk. Instead of placing one large order at the beginning, the customer was able to evaluate actual product performance first, then expand the installation based on field results and local needs.

Project Outcome

After installation, the solar street lights improved nighttime visibility around the school areas and created brighter outdoor spaces for children, teachers, and local communities. The lights helped make school access roads, walkways, and open areas easier to use after dark, especially in locations where public lighting infrastructure was limited.

The most important value of this project was not only the quantity of lights installed, but the way the project grew through repeat purchasing. The customer started with a small batch, confirmed the performance of the JAGUAR Series in real conditions, and continued to purchase additional units over the following years.

For Inlux Solar, this Benin project demonstrates how project-grade solar street lights can support education-related infrastructure in African markets. With the right pole height, LED power, battery capacity, and solar configuration, a solar street lighting system can provide practical, independent, and maintainable illumination for schools, public facilities, and community spaces.
