Recently, our AIT5 Jaguar solar street light system has been evaluated by the National Solar Energy Laboratory of Burkina Faso. Burkina Faso, as one of the world’s least developed countries, faces constant power shortages. Coupled with inadequate urban infrastructure, many cities are pitch dark at night, and few citizens venture out after dark.
Solar street lights, being independent of the grid system and easy to install and maintain, are favored and promoted by the local government. However, due to the varying quality of solar street light products on the market, many low-quality lights fail within a year.
As a government-promoted project, such products must be eliminated. Therefore, the local government requires that solar street lights undergo testing and evaluation by the National Solar Energy Laboratory, and only those that pass can be installed in the project.

Our AIT5 Jaguar street lights have successfully passed the testing and evaluation due to their excellent quality. From the LED module’s luminous efficiency to the capacity and lifespan of the lithium battery, from the power testing of the photovoltaic panel to the IP/IK testing of the whole street lights, the testers were deeply impressed. Compared to many subpar products on the market, including those using recycled lithium batteries, the AIT5 Jaguar stands out in terms of quality.

The tested and evaluated AIT5 Jaguar has now been installed in three cities of the country, and the effectiveness of the street lights has received high praise from the local residents.
