Professional Stadium Mast Lights & Sports Field Illumination

Home / Stadium Mast Light
Built for professional football pitches and multi-sport grounds, our stadium mast light uses high-efficacy LED flood arrays with precise optics to achieve project-specific illuminance and uniformity. Choose mast height and quantity, ring-mount or directional carriages, narrow-to-wide beams, and glare/spill-control shields to protect players, spectators and neighbors. We check wind-load/EPA and foundations for every mast, offer winch-based lowering devices for safe ground-level maintenance, and deliver tender-ready documents—photometric layouts, aiming tables, BOM and shop drawings—so you can bid and build with confidence.

Football Field Light (Stadium Mast Light)

Football Field Light

High-power LED flood arrays with ring or directional mounting, beam control for the specified lighting class, optional cut-off shields, and winch-based lowering for safe maintenance.

Selection Guide

Set the lighting class first (football fields commonly target 500–2000 lux and 0.5–0.7 uniformity; televised matches also require vertical illuminance checks). Choose mast height & quantity, ring vs directional mounting, beam angles (narrow-to-wide) and glare/spill shields. Confirm local wind-speed/EPA and seismic category; specify hot-dip galvanizing with optional powder coat. Add a winch-based lowering device when bucket-truck access is limited.

Stadium mast lighting: LED retrofit or new installation?

An LED upgrade does not always require new stadium light poles, but keeping the old poles is a design decision, not a saving to assume in advance. Establish which assets can remain before comparing a replacement-light quote with a complete football field lighting system.

Project routeWhat may remainWhat must be resolved before ordering
LED fixtures on existing polesPole locations, structures and foundations, only after review.Check structural condition, fixture weight and wind area, bracket interfaces, wiring and access. Recalculate the lighting with the actual retained pole positions.
New masts at existing locationsSome site infrastructure, if verified suitable.Do not assume the old foundations or anchor bolts fit a new mast. Check the complete structural interface and whether the retained positions can meet the lighting brief.
New field or revised pole layoutNo assumed existing lighting infrastructure.Develop pole positions, mast and luminaire arrangements together. Allow for power distribution, foundations, aiming and maintenance access in the project scope.

Why a watt-for-watt or lumen-for-lumen swap can disappoint

A lamp’s output is not the light delivered across the pitch. The selected optic and aiming determine where that output lands; retained pole positions can restrict coverage or increase spill. Compare the proposed LED layout at the same playing area, lighting class and maintenance assumptions. Check uniformity and glare alongside average illuminance, and include vertical lighting where the agreed camera or competition brief requires it. A higher total lumen figure alone does not establish a better result.

Match the Inlux equipment to the work being purchased

The Football Field Light is an AC-powered mast-and-floodlighting system. The Stadium Mast Light Pole page covers the supporting structure and access options. Use these as different procurement scopes, not interchangeable package prices. A retrofit on another manufacturer’s poles needs its own interface and structural review; neither product page establishes compatibility with an existing installation.

Compare the installed scope, not just the luminaire subtotal

Ask each proposal to identify retained equipment, replacement fixtures and brackets, electrical alterations, structural or foundation work, access equipment, aiming and commissioning. Separate confirmed reuse from provisional allowances. Have qualified structural and electrical professionals review the existing installation before removal or reuse. Then compare the alternatives against the same approved layout and acceptance checks using the project resources below.

Stadium Mast Light FAQs

Many projects aim for 500–2000 lux with uniformity around 0.5–0.7 depending on league/broadcast class, with additional vertical-illuminance checks for TV.

Ring-mount offers symmetric coverage; directional arrays push long throws and align with camera viewpoints.

We combine beam selection, aiming plans and cut-off shields to protect players and neighbors.

Yes—winch-based lowering devices allow safe maintenance at ground level on tall masts.

Photometric layouts, aiming tables, wind-load/EPA checks, pole shop drawings and BOM.

Yes—we design to the specified class and verify by simulation (incl. vertical/horizontal illuminance and uniformity).
