Stadium Glare Control (Tender-Ready)
For stadium projects, glare control is often as important as meeting lux targets. This guide standardizes what to request and how to validate aiming and shielding.
Where This Guide Fits
- Run this bundle: Stadium Bundle
- Related: Horizontal vs Vertical Illuminance
- Resource: Photometrics Center
Define These Before Quoting
- Glare-sensitive directions (stands, camera positions, nearby roads)
- Spill boundaries (neighbors, streets, residential zones)
- Aiming/tilt limits and whether shields/visors are allowed
Deliverables to Request
- IES/LDT + simulation report with assumptions and aiming notes
- Layout plan showing aiming direction and tilt constraints
- Shield/visor BOM (if used) + photometrics impact stated
RFQ Clauses (Copy/Paste)
- Supplier must address glare/spill constraints in the photometrics report and layout assumptions.
- Supplier must provide aiming notes and any shielding accessories list (if used).
- Glare/spill compliance is part of acceptance.
